mare is out in the field all day in the strong winds grazing quite happily not bothered at all, yet when leading her back to the stable its suddenly the most terrifing thing shes ever experienced and bronking sideways up the drive is the only option?

My mums gelding is exactly the same and he is turned out all day and not. But is its very windy and i want to bring him up the track hes goes into a complete panic. Yet hes the most placid bombproof horse riding in whatever the weather but leading him in the wind he really doesnt like.

They can be very strange creatures sometimes!
