How could i stimulate a ditch in my shcool .... i have one on my cross country course but my horse is refusing to jump it....! then again it is a bit wide. so i want to make on in my shcool any ideas how....?

try getting some black plastic binliners and place them in a rectangular ditch shape to the width that you want then put two poles on both long sides on the edges. make sure its well weighted down though so it doesnt flap about. You can use the sand from the school to weight the edges down. This has worked well in the past.

2 poles (however wide apart), big piece af tarpaulin under them (or feed bags).... you can supposedly put water on the bags, but I dont know if you'd have to create a bit of a dip.
Never tried it, but remember seeing it in a book or magazine as a practise ditch... not sure how effective it would be, but you could give it a go?

i did this the other week to resemble a water tray

.. used a blue rug and 2 feed bags.
