We always have a weekend plans post so I just wondered how everyone got on.
I came 3rd in the prelim and 5th in the novice on Saturday and 2nd in the prelim and 6th in the novice on Sunday and so am very pleased with my mare.
When I got to the venue on Saturday there was a large XC fence in the middle of the warm up area which did nothing to help my mare concentrate and I spent the whole time trying to calm her down and persuade her we weren't jumping! She did however calm down once in the ring and the extra energy was a bonus!
Sunday she went perfect in the prelim and we got a 9!!! We've never had a 9 before so very chuffed. It was very close and sticky and she was a bit fed up by the time it came to the novice but she still went very well and I was very pleased with her.
Roll on next weekend and a bit of SJ I think.

Fab weekend, came 6th in Prelim 18 in a large class, and tough competition. Sparks was a bit naughty just before our test, rearing and spooking at the camerman, but managed to persaud her he was going to eat her, before the start of our test and it helped in a way as had loads of impulsion!!!

Got very wet Saturday with OH who was doing a PSG. He finished second overall in the RYO so despite being drenched it was a good result.
Sunday we took Blitz and Diva out. I had a blonde moment and went wrong twice in Prelim 16. I redeemed myself in Novice 37 and came second in my section and got my first points with Diva.
Blitz was 3rd in his section in Novice 37 and got a 9 for his free walk!!!!! We left before the section finished but he had 71% so we were thrilled with him. He was the perfect gentleman, which for an entire on only his fourth outing, is excellent!
