Hi, as above really . I have just got a belgium warmblood in for sale and i know he has points but i dont know how many. He is a really stunning horse and to sell him to the right market i would ideally like to know what points and to what level he competed at as he is only 9 but super talanted with amazing bloodlines. I am mainly showjumping so not quite sure how to go about it. any advice would be great :)

Just type his registered name into the BD system, I think you *might* have to be a member to do so, but you can join the website for free, or you can ask one of us nice people to check for u :)

Easy peasy x

Also be aware if he was imported layer than 4yrs of age he will have been allocated BD points... Once they're 8-9 yrs they are into the 100's.
The best guide will be his competition record - again also on the BD website (but again you need membership to check this)
If his points are high as he was imported later he can be assessed by a BD trainer (there's a few for each region) to have them reduced ..: although UK results will count - better than downgrading as allows competition at restricted (rather than open section)
