Haven't posted on here for a very long time... but I was widget a long time ago <gets faraway look>

Anyway - am trying to work out what the engine size of my old bedford TL horse box is - i have looked on the registration certificate and it says 54 cc - which is surely insane?!

Anyone have any idea how I could check?

*waves*

It's almost certainly 5400 cc! Does it give a model number anywhere (possibly on a plate inside the passenger footwell).

You're looking for a metal plate about 3 inches by 4 inches, with the numbers punched into it:)

It's sure to be 5400 though, there were lots of those built.

You're sure it's a DJN not a DJM though? DJN was TL1000 which is a 10 tonner, DJM was TL860. Both were fitted (almost) exclusively with the 330 engine which was a 5.4 litre jobby.
