how do i get into better competitions

can anyone tell me how to get into bigger and better competitions to move up in the world for example how do i get affliated or similar? any other advice greatfully recieved

i have a good allround horse who has a nice scopey jump umm i live in east anglia i am 17 and a half if any of that matters.........

First you have to decide what discipline you want to compete in? Sjing Dressage or Eventing?

Firstly you save a vast amount of money . Then you go on BE website and sort out joining and registering your horse, You look at the events which are also on the website, you make sure you have all the required equipment and know the rules and you try to enter using one of your ballot stickers. Then phone for times and
Then you just compete. May be best to go to watch one first to make sure you understand every thing.

Ok, you need to look at www.britisheventing.com

You can start at either Intro, Prenovice or Novice as you are over 16. It costs about £210 to register you and your horse first off for the year, and entry fees are about £60 for Intro, plus £10 starting fee.... as a result, it is worth being competent around 3ft SJing and XC before considering intro
