How do I get rid of thrush!

My boy seems to have it constantly. I have used Redhorse sole cleanse for weeks on end but he still seems to have it, I have also used Miltson which someone told me was too harsh.

I am thinking of using NT-Dry or White lighting, however it just seems to always be there. He is on FP balancer so is getting all his vits and minerals.

Hydrogen Peroxide. Correctly administered and at the correct strength, it will work. Failing that, Oxytetracycline (purple spray). That also works!

Vet told me to use Blue Spray (Terramycin) on thrushy feet as its essentially for foot rot. Seems to have worked well with my horse.

And scrubbing with hibiscrub .
But if you are anywhere near a beach going in the sea as a much as possible is great.

and it seems to really have worked as no sign of thrush at all and farrier said he's never seen his frogs so good.

Def. worked for us !

I use it on everything too (cuts, wounds etc.) and seems to be pretty versatile.

Goldenstar .. sounds wierd, I have not had a problem with them .. was amazed how effective it was on mine - I used the hoof stuff and the mud

Red horse field paste and artimud for any cracks, only thing that worked for my boy! He had it for months and months and just wasn't getting anywhere until I bought these and was then gone in a week!

I used "hoof stuff" on my horses frog cleft and it made her sore. I do like the artimud tho! Interestingly when I stopped using the hoof stuff, the sulcus has started closing up on its own without any treatment but I wonder if this is just because the fields are drying up a lot ???

Nappy rash cream Work it into all the cracks and down the sides of the frog and up the central sulcus.....amazing stuff
