What do I do about this?

I've looked on DVLA and I can't find any info. I'm in Nottingham but prepared to travel.
Still not sure if we're getting a lorry or not but it'd be nice to get the towing licence sorted if we decide to go for the pick up n double trailer.

If you passed your driving test after 1997 you only have category B entitlements whereas to tow a horse in a trailer you really need B+E entitlements. The best way to do it is to go on these 5 day courses that teach you during the week and send you for your test on the friday but you can do it like car driving lessons too. The best thing to do this is to contact your local training centre most HGV centres do the towing test training too so if you type towing test or towing training into yell.com for your area it will come up with a few options most are likely have websites that can give you more info.

I did my HGV test and got a box instead of a trailer just couldn't get my head around towing.

I passed my trailer test two weeks ago.
It was quite hard, especially the general driving bit, as it's like your driving test all over again.
I had a 2 hour assessment with my driving instructor, as I'd never towed before in my life, to see how much training he thought I needed.
Then I had a 2 hour intensive reversing lesson, where we practiced generally reversing but mainly the exact manourver you have to do in the test.
Then I did a 6 hour day, driving all the test routes, so I know when speed limits changed, what lane to be in at certain junctions etc.
Then I had a brief practice before setting off to drive to the test centre then the test, which itself is an hour and half long. You drive for about an hour (including independant driving, where they say "follow the signs for so-and-so" and then keep quiet for about 10 minutes whilst you follow the signposts.) then you do the reversing excersise, couple and uncouple the trailer and answer some theory type questions.
That in all, including use of the instructors car and trailer, cost me £585!! And thank god I passed first time, as it would have been about another £300 to do it again!!!
Good luck if you decide to do it.
Oh I found my instructor by looking on Yell.com. He is near Selby in North Yorkshire, so a bit far for you but I can throughly reccomend!! PM if you want any more details!:)
