How do I prevent birds flying into new arena mirrors?

We have installed a bank of 3 mirrors down the long side of my arena. Three days in and we have the imprint of a pigeon in flight and a dead sparrow!!

Can anyone recommend something to prevent this happening?

Hubbie is thinking about putting some covers on them that can be dropped like a blind when not in use.

BTW mirrors are amazing!! I'm already sat up much straighter!!!

Ooh well ages ago I found you could buy stickers for windows, they may have been on ebay, and they were virtually invisible to people but birds could see them(somehow). I'll have a look for them.

How clever - not noticed a problem with the school mirrors here but do have problems with them hitting my living room windows as I have the same window set up the other side of the room - they can see straight through.
