So I ordered a pink hi viz quarter sheet of eBay quite a while ago and it has finally arrived. But with zero instructions on how to fit it. I've never used one before only for one month has my cob ever needed rugging so how do i fit it on?

It normally has some straps that attach to the girth straps and then it just lays across the horses back/bum? Might also have a tail strap like a rug does ? Do you have a link to a picture of the one your bought?

Here is the sheet I have: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/251688317251?_mwBanner=1 I can take other pictures if that would be helpful

It looks like it should have two black straps attached to it (Velcro probably). One for each side of the saddle. You'd attach these black straps to the girth straps of your saddle, so the sheet can't slip backwards. It you rollover the picture on ebay and look at where the hi viz meets the saddle, you can just see the black strap that goes under the saddle panel.

Hope that makes sense!

I am so bad at fitting rugs of any description it's unreal. Have major Dyscalculia (number dyslexia) which apparently is the main reason cos my brain isn't wired to process and figure stuff out like that and I once got stuck under a rug I was trying to put on and had to be rescued from underneath it inside the stable by my then 15yr old daughter.

Resurfaced and took a gulp of air and horse was giving me the side-eye all "Are you high?" :D:D

Do the same with duvet covers I cannot fit one in less than 15 mins and without needing to shout for help.

And I can't alter stirrups whilst I'm sat on the horse either. Never been able to do it. I'm pants.

Those sheets are useful, I have a mesh version for summer use, two fixings on mine, one joins the girth straps under the flap and fixes with a plastic push in type buckle and the lower one is velcro tape that slides behind the girth at calf level. Fillet string and loop for under tail it does not move at all.
