How do I stop Hoss from rubbing his quarters when travelling?

As title really ...... he wears a tail bandage, tail guard and quarter guard but still ends up with two rubbed patches on his bum cheeks!! This happens travelling forwards, backwards and herringbone.

Any ideas? :confused:
 
I found a guard which fits under the tail which you fix with the ties so its a bit like an upside down tail guard. Cant describe it very well but it did the trick ... clean but slightly sweaty bum. Made by N.E.W. Equine but I don't remember wher it came from. If I can find one I'll post here again.
