... my rugs from rubbing his mane off?
last year, i lost the lower half of his mane due to full neck rugs rubbing (he's a welsh A so has a lovely thick mane when it's all there). It's only just grown back so i don't want to lose it again!

he's fully clipped so needs his rugs (he's a wimp in the cold too) thank you in advance.

Try one of those lycra hoods underneath? Ive just ordered one from ebay for £13 (they are about £18 on other sites). I think there is still quite a few on there, PM me if you want the item number.

Possible put on one of the lycra neck covers that showing people use to keep the plaits in the night before shows, under the neck cover. That way the rubbing actionof the rug will just slide over the lycra neck cover underneath & leave the mane in tack....... just a thought
