If a photo has a high resolution?

I have been asked to send in some photos of my pony for the HORSE competition which have a high resolution ... but how do I tell this?

When HORSE were asking for high resolution pics for their Collecting Ring pages, they qualified it by saying not photos off a mobile phone. So, if they're off a digital camer, I think you can assume they are high resolution.

In my job I have to use high res images for print, we would normally only accept images of 300dpi and above, if that doesn't make sense or you can't work it out PM me and I can see if I can sort it out for you! You will need to take them on a camera rather than a phone unless your phone takes high res images.

As has been said above, right click on the pic on your pc and go to properties. Then tell us what size it says it is

Also the higher the resolution the sharper the image and the better your ponio will look!!

as said before 300dpi is bottom end of acceptable for high resolution.

A little trick is to resize the image 25% more than you need it at - if its not clear you might have problems.
