Hoping someone can help.... my lorry has a tilt cab, but we've never had to tilt it before. We've found the pump mechanism for the hydrolics, but is there a mechanism elsewhere we need to release first? The pump by itself doesn't seem to work, but I don't know if that means that it is broken or whether we've missed something else!

Any suggestions???

Thank you!!

I have a Ford Cargo, so not sure if it's the same, but I need a special tool to release the tilt mechanism according to my manual. I don't have one :p Luckily my mechanic does :)

Yes open the front flap otherwise it can catch the bumper make sure the doors are closed .. if you look at the pump there is a round bit with a bar you need to turn that first with the slotted end of your cab bar that ether makes it pump up or down ... if you have a luton you may need to open the front or if it has a pod type it may be bolted to the body and need undoing first ....hope that helps..Oh and make sure there isnt anything loose in the cab that could fall and hit the screen !!!!!!
