Stop the blasted 3yr old from growing! I wanted a smaller version of mum and I've done the fetlock to elbow test and I still have 7.5 inches of growth yet to go which means my nice little polo ponio is going to be another 16.1hh monster just like his mother! It's so not fair, and I was always told that the first foal was usually the smallest, well if that is the case I'm not putting my mare back in foal!

So any tips to keep him small would be appreciated

or I'm going to have to let my friend turn him into a show hack!

Don't feed him and bandage him tightly from head to toe, to further restrict!!!!!............................Joke

Yes I was thinking of getting my friend to make him a straight jacket type of thing and doing what the japanese do to keep their hands and feet small by wrapping his hooves tightly in bandages . . . . . . . . Yes Still Joking!
