How do people secure their electric fence energiser & battery

As title, have had my energizer and battery stolen from my field after only being there for three weeks. It is up a clearly marked 'private' drive, has no public right of way and is not visable from the road. Pony promptly escaped the following night! How do people go about securing energizer ect

unfortunately there isn't really a full proof way to stop it from being stolen, ours has been nicked before, We now leave the energizer on during the day and take it home of a night and hope the horses think its on.

I've seen some people use a small padlocked dog crate - obviously as a deterrent not a fool proof way.. some I've also known to put 'beware of the bull' signs up (no bull, but might make the bug gers think twice?)
