How do you all feel about sharing?

Its something I am having to concider after being made an offer by someone.

I am currently working 7 days a week to keep myself and horse and as a result have no time at all to ride. Horse is well looked after and wants for nothing but is not being excersised except maybe once/twice a week. I would love for him to be ridden more but he is a very excitable and 'challenging' ride and I dont know how I would feel loaning him out. If anyone could help me make a decision I would be very grateful.

Pros:
-Horse would be ridden more.
-Financial contribution would be handy, but wouldnt pay for that much (she was offering around £10-£15 a week)
- Horse may become better schooled etc.
- Horse is perfect on the ground and she will learn alot from him management wise.
- Some help with stable duties maybe

Cons:
- He is a very challenging ride as I said, he is excitable and has been known to have....moments. He is a fun ride most of the time but has reared and bucked out of pure excitement. I wouldnt trust him within a mile of a novice (this lady sounds experienced but how do I know?)
- I want to compete in the summer and school over winter. How would this work with someone else involved, would I have to dictate to her what to do? How would we share 'competing' time?
- My facilities are dire over winter. Terrible school which floods and freezes over and no lighting mean riding after work is pretty difficult. Would this put any sharer off, why would they pay not to ride?
- What happens if something happens to him on sharers watch, whos responsible?

Has anyone else had experience of sharing, from either side? What do you think about it?

I had a sharer for my WB which worked out really well, but then I have known her since she was little (she's 16 now) parents are totally non horsey but as its her passion they were totally happy for her to be with me. The only downside was Dexy doesn't do hacking out on his own and can be a handful in company so she was limited to the school some what, but all was good. The only reason she now doesn't share is a more suitable horse came up, one she can hack out and come back in one piece ! has done loads of pony club etc etc so encouraged her to go for it. Although she does still come up and help/ride at weekends as she has a soft spot for Dexy !
Her parents gave me £120.00 per month towards him which I think is fair and as they aren't horsey I used to take her of to rallies/comps but didn't ask for petrol.
Hopefully like you looking to get another sharer but will only do it through word of mouth and recommendation.
