how do you care for a suede saddle?

As above really! Obv saddle soap ain't it!! What happens if it rains?! Never really wanted one but there is one on offer that is everything else I'm looking for!!

I think there is a Scotchguard that you can spray to make it a bit shower proof, I would get some foaming suede cleaner for shoes to clean it, I assume that it will wear in to a shine eventually where you make contact with the saddle. The one I had only had suede panels I don't think they look as smart as a normal leather one, but should give you better grip.
