the stable isn't that nice really???

Ollie keeps injuring himself each time he thinks he is coming off box rest! I need him to stop and want to go out and enjoy his life in the field, like the others :o

He is currently moved into another stable in the morning to have company and I am thinkg this is going to stop and as he is moulting and quite warm in the stable, I will also take his rug off during the day!

What else can I do? I am at a loss as to what to do!!

Rosé and choccy for anyone who can help me xx

Oh dear sounds to me like he's just being sensible & staying where it's warm & comfortable through this nasty cold, wet weather! Will probably stage a remarkable recovery once the spring grass & sunshine appear!

I'd keep him in the stable if I were you - both mine are now off work - most recent one an abcess from the field - going from frozen to soggy overnight - not good for their feet anyway! Leave him enjoying his stable. When the spring grass comes through, don't feed him so much hay/haylage and then he'll want to go out and enjoy it! Good luck!
