Well nearly anyway!

One of our lots in the forthcoming Drawing the Line on Indiscriminate Breeding auction is this beautiful Stevenson Brothers Headley Britannia rocking horse made with Brit’s tail hair and shoe:

I introduced it to Brit yesterday and she certainly loved it – we had to be careful to stop her nibbling at the mane! It has also been ridden by Lucinda so you never know, some of the magic might rub off and help to produce a future Badminton winner!

The auction is taking place at Cheffins of Cambridge on Wednesday October 13th at 7pm (doors open at 6). There is so much more available, all kinds of things so please take a minute to have a look. Scarily Christmas is only just around the corner so if you need an original present for somebody this might just be the place to find it! Every penny of the money raised will be spent on our breeding initiatives (it is totally ring-fenced). I know what we are trying to do is an enormous task but it is better to try than to just ignore the problem and we can and will make a difference. But to do that we need your help!

Huge thanks to everyone who has donated to the campaign. There are a couple of amazingly talented HHOers who have done so, and one HHO husband, but I’m not sure if I should “out” them in case they prefer to keep their identity secret on here. But they know who they are and I am really grateful to them.

A fantastic cause and a genuinely incredible selection of donations for the auction, I hope LOTS of money is raised!

I know of several HHOers attending, would love to be there myself if I didn't live so bloomin far away!
