Just wondering how others keep their babies? My 2yo ISH filly is out 24/7 and has been since she was born. she's is out with company on good grass & gets small amount of young stock feed with multi vit daily. Ive taught her the basics ie leading, she stands tied to be groomed, feet picked out etc & she's good with farrier.
A few horsey "friends" often say I'm cruel, as they keep their babies stabled over rugged, petted & pumped full of feed! They also have them over worked in my eyes. I know all horses are different but i just like to know what others do. She is the first horse I've bred, but am happy to let her live out and take things slowly with her. She seems happy, she's in good condition & growing well
