As per question really.

I bought some a couple of weeks ago and in my excitement and haste ripped the lable off, thew it in the bin and went to the yard!

Could i use a leather balsam on them to keep them supple?

What do you do with yours to keep them in good nick?

 Oh dear:(

Mine, plus the Dubarrys, the DR's and the Country Eventers all have to make do with scrubbing in warm water to get the muck and salt off them and a coating of good old Dubbin now and then when I remember.

The newest pair of boots, can't remember what sort they are (they all look vaguely alike anyway - I have been known to grab the nearest 'pair' from the pile in the basement and wear mismatching ones) are still new and haven't been out on the yard in a foot of snow yet (they actually get worn shopping) haven't had anything on them at all.

I bought a pair of the brown (cherokee) I think they are called, I wipe them down after every ride and a couple of times a week I saddle soap or polish them, the dye seems to be coming off but they have gone a nice dark brown colour. They seem to like the treatment I am giving them!!:)
