long leather riding boots? I've just bought a pair and although they are relatively supple already, is there anything I'm supposed to do with them to take care of them?

Sorry for the stupid question but I've only ever had chaps before this!

you can get saddle soap in a can which comes out as a foam and is brilliant for long leather boots. one of the shoe cleaner companies does it - punch or something, i think - so you should be able to get it in good shoe shops or supermarkets.
i used to use it for mine and it cleaned, suppled and shined them but sadly i lent my can to my dad to use on their leather sofa and i haven't seen it since!

Thanks guys! I'll use saddle soap for now as that's what I've got and see how it goes. I'll keep an eye out for the foam stuff too though!
