How do you measure a saddle??

length is from the little stud thing at the front (looks like a nail head thingy)... to the centre of the cantle, i think.

lots of saddles say their size under the flaps somewhere too.

Yeah it's got a sticker but its so worn out i cant read it, nd i've been made an offer for the saddle i really want but i need to check that its the same size as mine, just wasn't sure how to go about measuring it,

Some people measure across the D rings to get the size.

Alot of people measure D rings but thats not really a true reading, My wide saddle measures the same D ring to D ring as my mates Narrow/Medium. Its soooo confusing!!
