How do you mend a little broken heart?

Last thread to read before I go to bed, and what a wonderful post it was!

Gorgeous girl and pony, wish them the best of luck, and agree with a previous poster about pairs classes! ;)

He is gorgeous! And so clean!! Makes me feel guilty about my mud monsters out in the field, maybe I should dig those brushes out today...

awwww, seriosuly cute, (thats your daughter and the shetland !!)

You have clearly made a little un a very very happy bunny.

Dont blame you at all, congratulations xxx

Awww:). Get him a mini for his first birthday! I wish I had her, she will out grow this lad too quickly really she had a standard shettie first for two years (she is 4 in April and very tall).

My wee one will be 3 on his next birthday... He already likes to sit up on my horses and is very helpful round the stables, mucking out with his wee wheelbarrow and topping up the waters with his wee bucket... I'm really tempted!

my friend has 3 kids, the oldest is a girl, the other 2 are boys. her husband is field master. All 5 hunt when school permits. Friend maintains that both boys are somewhat ambivalent about horses and riding, unless the can leave the house and get on a ready to go pony and go hunting. She says you have to do it all for them to keep them interested.

And I've never, ever met 3 such brave, capable stylish young riders either. All 3 (particularly the middle one) are candidates for "Thruster of the Week" in H&H in future years!

gorgeous pony FW, definitely all landed on your feet :)

and, I've just seen that the middle one, and his dad were pictured in this weeks H&H hunting with the sinnington! plus he got a mention as a youngster to watch... :D

That is exactly what my friend says about her two little ones, 1 year and 2 years older than mine. The boy likes to ride but nothing else where as the girl likes the whole thing. Funny!

My stepson was a bit like that. He did PC, but this year has decided he won't do pc anymore and wants to go down the route of classes that don't need plaiting for! However, the flip side is, now he is 15 and huge, he is really handy and strong around the place! I always tease him that he is not so cute anymore, but he's useful!

The downside of boys is that when they grow, they grow. He went from a 13.2 to a 17h!
