As title, my yearling does not like me trimming them or the long hairs under his chin! Wondering what the quickest and easiest way is for a fidget, thanks

You can buy these http://ai.pricegrabber.com/pi/5/90/81/59081794_160.jpg

I used to work in a tack shop and with staff discount figured they were cheaper than razors and got a pack to try. They're fantastic! They give a nice neat finish, catch all the whiskers with very little difficulty. There's also two in a packet, and I've only needed to use one so far (bought the beginning of last season). They actually are a horsey product that seems to be a cheaper alternative to the human version (ie normal razors).

me niether, scissor and comb long hairs under chin, but definately leave the whiskers, esp on a yearling!

Mini electric clippers, but do you really need to take the whiskers off a yearling? (we do but quarter horses are supposed to be clean shaven for showing, regardless of age!)
Check the breed standard.
Scissors can tickle the horse's face, hence the fidgeting - if I ever try to use scissors for a quick job my mare tries to chew them
