My tackroom seems to always be very dusty (If I don't ride for 3 days my saddle is very dusty - I have a cover though), but it is also very damp in the winter and pretty much all year round.

When I put my saddle cloths on shelves I come to find them very dirty (dusty) so I have to pretty much was them after each time I ride. (Although horsey doesn't sweat alot).
But when I fold them up and put them in the cupboard they go all fousty and damp.
Is there any way I can store them without getting this problem ?
I haven't found any boxes big enough to lie them flat in.

I can't bring them home as I really don't have room for smelly saddle cloths and I think I would be killed by oh.

How do you store yours?

I put them in them in the clear zippy bags you get when you buy a new rug..That way i can store 5 or 6 of them in the but can see which one i want before pulling them all out.

I pile mine up ontop of each other on a spare single pole type saddle rack and drape an old table cloth over them all as a dust cover.
