How do you think he's looking?

just wondering really - he's full of himself, but I don't really feel that I can reduce his hard feed. He's hunting twice a week, and hacking once or twice a week. He's on readymash extra (2kg per day), alfa a oil (3kg per day) and sugarbeet (ad lib) and adlib haylage. turned out well rugged for 12 hours.

He looks well! Maybe reduce the sugarbeet if he's feeling a bit full of himself, or change it too unmollassed sugarbeet (if not already?) or fibre or conditioning cubes, something like that?
 
Darned handsome! Sorry, nothing more constructive to say on the subject. Mine is all full of the joys at the moment, but that's cos he's bored!! Maybe the grass is changing? Lovely lovely boy Jen xx

it's unmolassed speedibeet already - and he reacts to something in most cubes and mixes..... I might drop the chaff to hifi or alfa a with no oil.

thanks skewby! I was wondering if it was just a change of season that was causing it!
 
Would say he is looking fine, he is hunting fit after all, and unfortunately hunting that much does make them rather full of it, mine is bonkers at home, would much rather hunt her, and have to give her a fair bit of food to keep her weight on, luckily I also have use of walker as she is not v impressed at bein in field for too long, just stands in shelter after an hour then pretend that she can't possibly walk thru the 'mud' despite managing to hunt all day in mud, Inc jumping gates and havin FM on her for 20 mins the day before, hehe!! But yer he looks fine!!
 
Cut down on the Alfa Oil - I fed a high oil diet to my horse on recommendation from her old owner and she turned into a loon!!! Put her onto low oil type feed and she was much more predictable!!
 
I think he looks good, if he is dealable with I wouldnt worry too much, Frank is rather full of himself atm too, he thinks spring is on the way!
 
I think he looks fab. My hunter is on about half a bucket of Alpha A Lite with a handful of pony nuts, joint supplement, hoof formula, carrots, 1 pint jug of speedibeet and 1 pint jug of Fast Fibre, twice a day and has no problem with energy or weight.
