How do you tie a dressage stock?

Well, I finally got around to buying on, only to get it home and find all the instructions are in FRENCH!

Someone help me, I have to tie the bloody thing on Sunday!

There should be a button on your collar at the front in the middle, and a button hole on the stock. You put the hole over the button, then one end of the stock over one shoulder and round the back of your neck to the front, same with the other. Your collar may have loops for it to go through. Then tie as if you are tying a normal tie, but don't tuck the top bit in. Pin it in place. It is easier than a ready made one because you can make it the right size for your neck and you don't have to worry about velcro coming undone!
