Im trying to find out a bit more about my horse's BSJA record.

Aparently he has done BSJA novice but i am struggling to find out history.

Does anyone know how you can find out what he had done competition wise.

Or perhaps someone knows my horse. He is a 12 yo Irish sports x called Paddington Bear and is Skebald and 14.2hh.

He came from the gloucester/hereford area then swindon. So if anyone has seen him at a competition etc id love to hear some more about his BSJA past.

All info much appreciated.

You can purchase his comp record from BSJA. £10 for non members, £5 for members. His BS(JA) number should be in his passport.
I just had a quick look and 2 PB on there, one is 10, other is 21 so not sure he would have registered under that name. If you can get his BSJA number for me I might be able to find out more for you.

Thank you very much, i will see if i can get hold of his old owner and get his BSJA number.
I cant see anything on his passport.....so will have to dig a bit deeper i think!

I saw those 2 on the BSJA website.....so im not sure if the 10yo would have been him? unless that is the age they are now?

Age on BS website is current age not age when competed so neither fit.
If he was competed on a ticket then there would not be any record so worth asking owner if he was registered. If he doesn't have a BSJA sticker in his passport then chances are he hasn't been registered in the last 5 years or so.

hmm thats interesting. Thank you very much for all of your help. They kept on about BSJA....but i like to double check these things ;-)
As its stands, luckily im just looking to do local and fun stuff with him even tho he jumps everything and anything! But i would love to know a bit more about what he has done.

Juno, I have had 2 horses in the last 3 years that have done BSJA and neither have anything on their passports..............

If you know what his full name is, not stable name, you can you can search the BSJA website for him & it will tell you if he has any winnings. There will be a very brief desc of your horse i.e. mare or gelding, colour, age etc. Once you've found this you will have to pay for the actual record but at least you will know that he was ever registered.
