How do you trace a microchip nr. generated in the Netherlands?

Hi, can anyone help me. I have a horse with a microchip nr. I have narrowed this nr down to being from the Netherlands but have not managed to gain any more information. I have established that my horse is not registered KWPN or Sporthorse. Help anyone????? Thanks

if he hasn't got papers it could have simply been a chip put in for security purposes. and just because a chip was put in in the netherlands doesn't mean that is where he is registered in a studbook. does he have a brand on his flank?

I have a passport with the 'europees stamboek', she was registered in the netherlands. You could try going on the website ' www.stichtingeuropeesstamboek.nl' if you go on the database and type in her mircochip no. it may come up with something?

Hi, no he has no brands on him anywhere. I bought him from a dealer with no paperwork at all. I was told he was german, but that seems odd with a nl microchip nr. I will try the website above thanks.

we bring over horses from holland and alot of them are actucally are german rather than dutch so it still is a possibilty he is german
