Just wondered what you guys think. YO is selling a really nice youngster but he has had a tie back operation. Would this put you off buying or how do you think it would effect value? It is apparently 100% successful? Thanks in advance..

Wouldn't put me off but I've had a TB that had been hobdayed and had a tie back (done by previous owner) who was fine in his wind after the op.

Isn't a tie back relatively common in racing TB's?

Not sure it would effect the sale value really. I had to keep my boy on dust free bedding and feed soaked hay but think that's not uncommon in a lot of horses not just those who have had a tie back or similar.

Thanks for that! Someone told me that its preferred in some hunters? Not come across it before so just wondered the horse is gorgeous so im sure it won't bother the right person!
