So all i have kind of figured out so far is you qualify and when you get there there are different classes that you can enter that you don't need to qualify for (there is an indoor and outdoor series?)just wondering as well, if you qualified at home, does that automatically put you in the finals in the indoor arena and if you jump clear (its a taller height i think?) then you go back in later and jump another taller round? just wondering thanks! Also, if i was doing the horse quest novice (max. height in qualifying rounds 90cm) how high would that go up to? Thanks!!:D

The novice is a metre, you Jump 2 phase if I remember correctly. For the qualified classes you jump indoors, and anyone can jump iN the outside rings. Its a fabulous experience.

When we have been & done the pony classes, if you have qualified for a championship you jump indoor in that final which is 3 rounds (the ones we have done are anyway!)

There are loads if other classes to do too that you don't need to have qualified for, some in, some out, so you can also take other horses with you that haven't qualified for anything.

It's our favorite show of the year :D

If you have qualified for the senior novice final, the first round is 1m then 1.05m in the jump off maybe the odd one at 1.10m - this class will be straight in the indoor - there is a warm up class in the indoor that anyone can do who has qualified for the show which is 1m. There is a winter novice series,1m 1st round, horses not to have won £175 when entries close, in the outdoor arena with a champ on the last day still in the outdoor - its a fab show and i would definately recommend going :)

I was also thinking about maybe trying to qualify for the discovery champs. as well but would that mean it could go up to 1m 20 in the finals?? I'm guessing it would start at 1m10 :/

Yes i jumpd that on my youngster this year - TBH the courses are fab and flowed very well - the JO for Disco was about 1.10m to 1.15m as the first round is 1.05m - here is the jump off so you can see :) i was very proud of my youngster she finished 8th and had only been jumping 9 months :) http://youtu.be/yoALelCLPgU
