How does one qualify for Olympia (LIHS)?

I've pottered about doing a bit of show jumping in the past and one of my childhood dreams has always been to compete at Olympia (London International Horse Show) - realistically I'm not talking about the really big and serious classes at the end of the week, but the ones at the beginning of the week.

I was just curious what classes and competitions one would need to start competing in (and getting qualifying points in) to eventually be able to get to Olympia? I suppose I'm interested to find out just how unfeasible it is (for me, anyway)! :P

Thank you very much for all your help.

I don't know what level you ride at but there's lots of great shows and champs at both aff and unaff levels if Olympia is a little unrealistic! I'm very much a low level potterer but I ended up at Hickstead for a showing champs, at the Sunshine Tour. I've since realised they do lots of events there but for me it was so much fun to compete at a place that I remembered from my childhood days of watching horses on TV.
