As title really. Due to Harry being a very good boy recently and our eventing debut on the horizon I am thinking of getting him a dressage saddle. He is tricky to fit, as he had a lot of muscle wastage due to a horrifically fitting saddle before I got him, and not having worked correctly over his back, he never built up any muscle or topline. He currently has an Ideal Impala which he really likes, at the moment he is in a medium with a poly pad and a gel pad. The thinking being that as he builds up muscle we can reduce the thickness of the pads.
Due to him liking the Ideal, and it being the only saddle that went anywhere near fitting him (he is a TB), I am thinking of investigating the Ideal dressage saddle route. Specifically the Roella as I am a short ar$e . Harry currently has a 17" medium impala, would the Roella suit, or am I barking up completely the wrong tree ?
