as a possible loan ad? any criticisms or advice? i didn't know whether to put the negative things on or not? also where to put the ad? new rider, horse hunter etc?

I am looking for a permanent loan home for this special little horse. He is a 15.2 Thoroughbred gelding. I have owned him for 7 years but am struggling to find the time to give him the attention that he deserves. He has competed all disciplines RC but has mainly been a happy hacker for the last few years. He especially likes XC. He is an ex racehorse so is eligible for RoR showing classes. He is not a novice ride so would best suit a calm and confident rider who would like to just have fun with him. He would bring a full wardrobe of rugs and tack with him. He is good to shoe, catch and handle and is very good in traffic and with farm machinery. He doesn’t like being clipped, being turned out on his own or forward facing trailers but loves going out in the horsebox/ equitrek. His vaccinations and worming are up to date. If you think that you could offer a loving home for him then please call ***** for more details and I can send you some photos of him.

I think it sounds good :) How old is he, can he be turned out on his own if the fields on all 4 sides have a horse or 2 in and can he hack alone and in company? Does he have any stable vices and is he sound?

well done jake...hadn't even spotted i'd missed his age off! dunno about the turn out, never tried, but i suspect not...he likes his mates...other stuff is all good so i will ad that now :)

Sounds really good - I'd def be interested if I was looking. Other things I'd consider:
Are you looking for him to stay local?
Does he live in/out ?
Does he need to be ridden every day?
Do you have trial facilities available rather than just pics?

localish i think...so i could visit him easily... maybe a radius of 2 hours?
yes...good idea re. trial facilities...ta :)
