How far do you travel to your horses??

I know this has been asked many times before.

Reason I am asking is we may be moving,now where I keep mine is very cheap,and hacking is good,I will be moving 8.5 miles away from them.

I have never had my horses that far from me,and dont really like the idea,because there is not many people where i am,and if honest not sure I would trust them to see to mine if I can't get to them.

If you travel a distance why??

Mine are a mile away by car

8.5 isn't too bad and It certainly wouldn't put me off If I had to travel that distance

Mine are 6.1 miles away, it's about a 15 minute car journey.

Thats how far mine are at the moment,8.5 miles is one way.

About 6 miles away, takes about 15mins. Lovely drive and it never bothers me doing it.

We also split looking after the three of them between 3/4 people so reduces petrol used!! And thankfully my friend has a big truck so can get up in the worst of the winter weather xx

Mine works out about 3 miles as the crow flies but about 6 by the time I have gone round the back lanes! Takes me about 7/8 mins

At the moment I'm also about 15 mins away but hopefully within a few weeks my boys will be at the bottom of my garden
