I opted for can stay on as long as horse has no pulse.
Just need slight clarification on that one though, does the horse actually have no pulse or is it that I am just too numpty to be able to find the pulse
just kidding but mate has engraved spurs with added diamante bling! she 'claims' she didn't spot said bling till she had already bought them. hmmmm yes of course after all it is so sublte
I put I can stay on most of the time...I'm pretty practised at that!!!!
The trouble is that if i dont stay on it usually means a bad back for a couple of weeks!!! And a chat with the paramedics of course!!! Hence why I do my best to stay on board!!!
I can sit alot and have stickability. April can be quite the loon.
I fell off a few times when jumping last year. I don't think being able to stay on makes One a good rider though... because...
I am an ineffective, rubbishy limpet. I can stay on but my position still needs work and I need to be less of a passenger. Am going for as many lessons as I can afford
Am getting better but it's hard changing the habits of a lifetime and can be quite disheartening sometimes!

Was going to opt for "ok as long as horse has no pulse" but I am unable to locate said pulse to find out if horse is suitable for me to ride

Pssst! If you can't locate it, either you are incredibly incompetent or your horse is dead. So you can happily pick that category on my helpful poll.

Can you substitute Hot Flushes for PMT for us senior ladies? Since the menopause I've been sticking a little post-it note on neddy's neck to remind me which way round I should be facing.
Hmm I once lost my stirrups at (accidental) Gallop and stayed on....just....so i can stay on most the time, although the next time I get on a horse i'll fall off now for tempting fate!

Well, I'd heard of plain gallop, and rotary gallop...but accidental gallop is a new one....

It was a comedy of errors! lol! cantering through field on ex racer and lost one stirrup, trying to regain it lost the other which ment I fell forward and hence ended up in gallop with no stirrups! Ooops......
My whole stirrup and leather came off once on a x-country course (I think it was caught on a branch but I can't really remember, was years ago). I had to finish 3 jumps with one stirrup LOL.
Of course a good rider wouldn't have lost their whole stirrup in the first place
