How hard can it be....?

What track record, you've been ignored by GSD rescue and thats it isn't it. Its not as if they've turned you down. Got to be worth a call.

Had missed SBs reply C, at least the oldies remember me. :)

I really think the rescues have got it wrong tbh. Who doesnt work? Most people go to work. If they dont they are on the dole, so shouldnt be able to afford a dog, or bringing up children usually. But how many rescues stipulate no children under 12? Many women are back to work by the time their children are 12 because they have to work. Of course there are pensioners but again the rescues stipulate no-one over a certain age.

Is it really any wonder these dogs remain in kennels for so long?

If a dog is without any company completely then ok, I can understand a worry but when it has the company of other socialised dogs it is IMO completely different.

Bloomin edit time! Have just looked again and latest news on there is 2009 so probably not still available. I do know a couple of people involved with GSD Welfare so will email tonight and check their rehoming criteria.
