Filly going great. Gentle hacking once/twice a week.. Just done her first hack trot on grass! :D Only had two small feeble attempts to buck  Long lining great, with two reins, changes the rein, walks, trots, canters and halts on command - only 1 or 2 silly bucks for fun... or when she clamps her tail down on the line! Did two steps back up, and is going (wobberly) away from Meg without any naughtiness - which is very good :D as this is our real only remaining problem that needs sorting. Darn Meg don't help by neighing for her though, so not entirely her fault.
I don't have an arena, so all 'work' is done in a 4 acre field.

So, for something different, and as Meg likes a few jumps, I'm planning on getting what I have out to the field. Filly too young and immature to jump under saddle this year (I'm also too big to be jumping jockey too :o:o) How hard is it, to long line over jumps? Filly has seen poles and I've led her over 2 last summer for fun, and she has jumped the odd thistle/large patch of 'whatever' during some workouts before..

Does this man make it look easy? What do I need to be aware of? Any tips!! :o:)

It's easy enough with a horse that is experienced and well mannered like that one. I wouldn't do it with a youngster that hasn't jumped as it would be far to easy to accidentally sock them in the mouth if they took an overlarge leap or otherwise did something unexpected and you could soon put them off jumping.
Better to lunge from a cavesson over a fence with side rails to stop them running out. If you could make an area to loose school over fences that would be good too.
