Today was the day fiona my highland mare had her first lot of new treatment into her hocks so vet came and was even nearly 2 hours early. So ...

He looks at princess first the shetland she runs off before i can grap her and plays up catch her and she runs off again. However he said shes fine now so one of the others must have kicked her. Whilst this happens, Ella charges out of field section to where the hay is. So already shown up in front of new sexy vet

Next fionas turn to show me up -

So get fi out of stable to walk her up and down shes full of it just about could handle her. Then he said add her back in for injections - fi says no and takes off i couldnt hold her nor could vet. So off fi goes up neighbours drive go to grap her she spins off back up road towards ellas field. She stops sees us walking and canters off to end of road which leads to a main road. She stops runs back to field got the gate open at this time so shes in field. Off she goes smashs up electric fence finally catch her and he trys to clean her up and gives her a steriod injection. Also anti-itch injection and antibotic one as well. Fi also trys to kick him when he added last injection in.

Hopefully next visit end of month may be a bit better!!!! They must have planned this i swear to get me back and make me covered in mud in front of sexy vet

Now the vet saw how fi and ella were and said that they have a very unhealthy relationship which knew already. So only answer is to fully wean them from each other over this winter. Which is a nightmare fi cant be on a yard so cant move her, so would have to move ella onto a yard. All yards in area could move her to have to stay in winter. Not what she needs at 2years old really. Or do i keep fiona out with the cows for now and leave ella with the others???

Anyone elses horses show them up at the worst times ever?!?!?
