Havent posted any updates on my boy for quite a while so after giving him his first clip I thought i'd take some condition pics.

I bought Cooper last August after having to put my 9yo mare to sleep due to a tumor in her chest. After buying Cooper I did wonder if I rushed into getting a new horse and maybe I should have waited but I can safely say I picked a super duper pony! We are getting 65-74% at prelim and winning consistently so we are moving up to novice shortly.

How do you think he is looking?

Hi Jo Jo - he's looking great, he's really filled out hasn't he, well done for such great results, nice to hear a happy ending. I still keep in touch with Julia, another success story from Southgate Farm :-) x

I give him a full clip. Everything off except half his face. There is a few lines but not too bad.

He has muscled up so much. He is 8yo 15.2hh ISH. No breeding history but am guessing there irish cob in there!

cant believe you had just clipped him, he looks in good condition and about the right weight to me...:D:D

He was getting really hairy! And he is going to BRC Nationals next week so need him looking his best. We qualified for the prelim dressage and are doing team of 4.

This is a before I clipped him shot, Cooper the bog monster.
