My horse is mucked out for me during the week, it's part of the livery package I have. All that I have to do for my horse mon-fri is ride, make up his haynets and feed him (and bearing in mind he only gets a scoop of chaff with a handful of nuts, it doesn't take me long to put feeds together!). My horse is hunter clipped so doesn't require a lot of grooming, YO had washed and picked out feet.
So can someone tell me how it's possible for me to still manage to spend over 2 hours at the yard of an evening?!
I arrived at yard last night at just before 6pm and, glancing at the clock as I shut barn doors, noticed it was after 8pm. How can it possibly take 2 hours to fill 2 haylage nets, put together 2 small feeds, ride for 30 mins, and put night time rug on?!
Add to that my 1 hour round car journey to get there and back, and I wonder why I'm single LOL!!
