How is your ground and how are you coping?

Like this, as usual! We often do 20km hacks on this sort of terrain (with front hoof boots) and the 'best' piece of canter track we have is the road to the local quarry! Our school is basically gritty sand over rock and we jump and school on it all the time.

We have no grass or hay ever. Must admit is has been raining lately, but it has no effect on the ground.

Ground here is rock solid and starting to crack.

Y/O has bought a sprinkler system to wet the fields and help the grass grow.

Luckily we have a lovely arena to ride in but fast hacking is limited although Y/O has also created a lovely gallop track for us and having walked it today becauseg she's left enough grass it's still nice and bouncy and I'll be testing it out tomorrow
