Got to ride FB again this week, for the first time in ages. It was great! I think he thought so too. My lovely, responsive, well-schooled horse, who moves to my slightest touch of the leg or rein! We were really going to town in the new arena: flying changes, lateral work, things I'd totally forgotten we could do

OH, our friend, his sister and her boyfriend were well impressed with him, so was I, he even made my awful riding look OK.

Glad you've had a lovely ride. I am getting back on my boy next weekend after a 3 month lay-off. We'll only be walking for the first few weeks but I am still ridiculously excited about it! Just hope he's not TOO excited about it as well

The annoying thing was friend's sister had her amazing digital SLR camera and wanted to take pictures but it wasn't working for some reason

ahh you sound like you really enjoyed.

im having a nightmare at the moment cos our menage is a bit waterlogged or should i say more like a minnie bog at the mo and my mare is a nightmare to hack out so im missing playing about. so your post really made me smile. I was just imagining it was me.
