How long after first jabs can a horse be moved

ON BEHALF OF A FRIEND. My friend is buying a new 4 year old who hasnt had any jabs. She has had the first booked in and vet coming on Monday and she doesnt know how long until she can move him to a livery yard or does he have to have the full corse before he is moved?

It depends on the livery yard rules really, have they stated what they want? I have never actually had a yard specify that my horse must be vaccinated, although of course he always has been.

For competing, you need to have the 1st 2 vaccinations (at least 21 days apart) and can compete 7 days after 2nd vacc.

No they havent and its a small friendly yard would u recomend moving after the first and havin 2nd at livery yard? gonna ring the vet later

Mine hadnt been vaccinated since she was a foal (3yrs) so she got her 1st vacc after her vetting (at the vet clinic) just before arriving at our livery yard an hour later.
