When do anti-biotiocs stop acting, after the last dose? Just curious really about that. But also, when the time comes for a wound to need the air to dry up, but we're in the middle of fly season, how can you protect from flies?

The last dose continues to work in the system for another 24 hours, I always cover the wound in Derma gel as flies hate it.

It depends on the antibiotic, but I can't think of any that will go more than 24 hours. The majority will be 8-12 hours after the last dose.
