How long are your usual hacks? Just out of interest...

Depends, we have about 6 hacking routes that we can do, inc a walk down the lane and back. They are about an hour upwards, depending on how fast we go..
x

No less that 1 hour but not normally longer that 3 hours. I have 2 main routes that I do one is about 1.5 hours and the other is about 3 hours.

We have loads of routes, all with some tracks where we can get a good canter. When I'm exercising more than one, probably 35 to 40 minutes each. When I have lots of time to myself then an hour and a half. On a really nice day, nothing to rush off for, then add them together for a 2 hour amble.

Well during the week normally between 1-2 hours =) but at the weekends probablly no longer than 6hours, my yard all i have to do is cross a main road and i'm directly onto the moors by me and me n my mare can just go for hours without even realising lol xxx

Depends when I'm riding. If I ride before work and hack then only about 30 mins. After work, now the nights are lighter, I might manage our 45 min hack if I'm lucky. At weekends, as I'm trying to get some weight off my boy, then I'm trying to do a minimum of 1.5 hours each time, up to 2.5 hours (yawn!!).

I have one 20 min that I do, one 45 min one and all the rest are long 2 hours + but tbh rarely do. We also have a track that we go on which can take anything from 10 mins to an hour

We have lots of routes and some lovely bridleways :) So I tend to go out during the week for about 1 and a half hours to 2 hours, at the weekends about an hour. Although I do a lot of pleasure rides from May onwards where they can be up to 15 miles.

Nothing nicer than a long hack in gorgeous weather and stopping for a picnic :)

We have a quick hack for bad weather which is about 45 min, 30 mins if you trot a lot. Then we have a couple of 1 hr - 1hr 15 min hacks we do often and a couple of 2 hr hacks we do if the weather is really nice.

the hacks i do can last from 40 mins to just about 4 hours depends where i go and whether i stay on the estate if i go off the estate when taz is at peak fitness i can be out for up to five hours :D the usual everyday hack it between an hour and 2 and a half only an hour if i plan on schooling or jumping first

Our quickest routes are about 30 mins (all roadwork) or 45 mins partly offroad. Mostly I hack for about an hour or so but if the mood takes me I will go out for 2 / 2.5 hours.

We have a couple of quick 'round the block' rides that are all road work, they take about 30 to 45 mins. Usual weekend and summer evening hacks are around 1 hr to 1 3/4 hrs and a decent long hack, mixed paces and on / off road is around 3 to 4 hrs.

I'm on holiday next week, I hope the weathers dry :D

On my old loan pony we would hack for around an hour - mostly through woodland luckily! But if he needed a really really good gallop, around 2 hours, luckily for me this was quite often - saying he was fizzy was an understatement! :D xx

We have to do about 15 min road work each way to get to any decent hacking, so if i am going out it will be for an hour minimum (and this involves turning back the way we came after half an hour) which is also with some trotting and maybe a quick canter. There's also a circular hour long hack around the block at just a walk. I don't really like to bother with this and will usually school for an hour instead. My hacks are normally at least 2 hours, up to 4. When it gets lighter for longer and i have some more time over the summer, i will be going out for up to 8 hours, with a break for a picnic in the middle. Hopefully :D

I like to be out for a few hours but depends on what time I have - I can go hacking for half an hour if Im short on time or 3 hours if I have time. I havent been out for a while though, and my pal took me for a 3 hour hack on Saturday on her spare horse....my backside was numb!!!!

We are in the New Forest so anything from a quick 20 mins round the block to 4 hours or more. If its a lovely day and ponies are behaving we go out for hours with no set route, just have to make sure you can remember the way back!

Midweek and Saturday morning 1.5 to 2 hours, Sundays 2 to 4.5 hours, last sunday was about 3.5 to 4, but we stopped for Hot choccy and shared a tea cake at the cafe, so we both get a break :D
