I was wondering if it was okay to leave boots on pretty much all the time once they are broken in? My mare is extremely foot sore on one of her fronts, even in the stable.

Tbh I wouldn't want to keep them on all the time I think the foot must do a certain amount for itself without boots but if she's foot sore use them more to start with by all means. Foot sore in stable doesn't sound right at all, are u sure she hasn't a abcess brewing? What's her diet although I'm pretty sure you will have that sorted?
And you know what else is going to be asked for don't you!! PICS :)
when was your trimmer/farrier out? Don't suppose you have something like the bars slightly to high which is putting to much pressure on her foot? Just a guess

I have pics her taken 3 days ago. The shoes have now been removed. I will get some more barefoot pics this morning.

I would put this question on the Phoenix horse forum or wagtail I will text my trimmer and ask.

Thanks. Will get round to that today. Do you have a link?

Also are u sure she's foot sore on one foot or just lame?

Yes, it's definitely her foot. It's been going on since the summer when she went badly sore on it. Treated as lami but non responsive. Vet suggested imprint shoes which made her instantly sound. But she keeps losing one of them so we shod her normally. She was getting progressively sorer and so removed the shoes which is where we are now. She has no heat or pulses in any of her feet.
