How long did it take you to become confident driving your horses?

As above really - I am always fine when I take someone else's horse in my box - i drive just as steady but i loose that "raw nerve" feeling - that i get when i load my own..... urghhhh do i feel sick, I am stressed to death until i get onto the main roads, off the twisty turns and breaking - i always feel every peddle press is too sharp.. everyone else tells me i am the most coureteous, steady safe driver they have ever been with.... but i hate this feeling - i even put off taking mine to the woods somedays because of this.

I must add i have only been driving them in my box for a month or so now, and the more i do the better i get.... but i have not taken them out for a few days now.... and ime putting off going out today. WIMPO that i am

I never worry but did recently buy a camera just to reassure my self they are happy in trailer, but then I regularly tow farm sock in a 14ft trailer but dont like towing loose cattle or decks of sheep but will do it if no option,and have been towing 20+ years.and can reverse where needed as well, have to!!
